The moon from my baby girls stock

Photoshop 2 hours.

She opened an ordinary door.........a door she had passed many, many times. The hinges almost rusting.....a door from her childhood that she had meant to open , but never did. It just was n't the time. This time , it was her time.......she went without hesitation to the door and she was surprised how it opened with ease. How kindness conspires when you least expect. She heard a bitter voice behind her,warning her not to enter.........but it was not the voice of love or tenderness and so........she opened fully the door and looked inside........what she saw both shocked and elated her. The 'inside' was the 'outside' It was the whole universe with its myriad stars and planets spinning and dancing about her feet. She stood in awe on the cosmic esplanade, just her, a grand piano and a vacant stool. She ran her inquiring fingers over the smooth glassy darkness of the insrument, gazing in its mysterious sheen at her own reflection " Who are you?" she whispered as her tear fell onto her dark image. The constellations reflected for a moment in her tear. She remembered that she had asked that question many times but had not waited or looked for the answer, but now she knew her request would be heard and focusing on the brightest star she knew it was coming for her..........it grew larger until it appeared before her on the cosmic esplanade. " Welcome to the stairway " the tender star greeted her. She blinked and there before her stood a being dressed in formal dress, the dress of a concert pianist. The figure was not male or female........but strangely both and more. " I have been sent to play for you " the being simply said, " and all you have to do is listen".

Wow! I'm a new fan. This is quite important for me , since I'm a musician, a painter, and a big fan of Mozart. I love the tonal balance, and the quality. I love to gaze longingly into backgrounds and you have provided such a wonderful one. I have been doing primitive manips and displaying some of them on my page, but I do not have Photoshop, yet, and I can see from your work that I'll never be able to make much progress without it.

Anyway, Thanks. Your work is both an immense pleasure and an inspiration.
